I'm the daughter of Mexican immigrants who grew up in a working-class household. I navigated my career in consumer financial services — designing savings accounts, credit products, lending programs, homebuying tools — while quietly learning how wealth actually works for the people I was building products for.
What I found was a gap I couldn't unsee: the people who needed sophisticated investment strategies the most were the last to get access to them. Not because they lacked the resources or the intelligence. Because they lacked the network.
I spent 20 years learning how the system works.
