Haydeé Moreno
FounderMy career spans more than 20 years in financial services. My instincts to scan systems, identify patterns, and lead with curiosity, combined with a relentless drive, are the reason XGI exists.
Like XGI's clients, I'm a first-generation high-earner. Growing up as the daughter of Mexican immigrants in a working-class household meant navigating different social and professional networks throughout my career. That experience developed into an insider-outsider sensibility I now embrace as a productive trait — one I see as shared across the breakthrough generation, and one XGI is built to validate and celebrate.
The common thread throughout my career is building solutions that address failures in financial systems — homeownership, banking access, lending, and credit scoring. Before XGI Financial, I was COO at JUST Community, a fintech micro-lender. I also founded Almost Home Financial, which provided access to homeownership for first-time homebuyers. I led the product team at RevolutionCredit, an enterprise fintech that helped lenders identify upwardly mobile consumers, and launched the de novo Prospera division at Self-Help Federal Credit Union.
I started my career in investment banking, at JPMorgan Chase and later Goldman Sachs. I hold a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Stanford University.
